JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM- DKI Jakarta Governor Anies opened and became one of the speakers at the 2022 Jakarta Investment Forum at the Fairmont Hotel, Thursday (1/9). The Jakarta Investment Forum (JIF) 2022 carries the theme “Investing in Resilience” which is integrated with the U20 Mayors Summit. The theme is also in line with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Development Plan 2023-2026.
“Today, we are holding the Jakarta Investment Forum where the DKI Provincial Government invites various business actors to see the investment potential in this city,” said Anies after giving a presentation (1/9).
“Investments in Jakarta are not only in projects carried out by the DKI Provincial Government, but also investments for business activities that will provide more jobs, drive the economy better and improve welfare for Jakarta residents,” he added.
On the occasion, Governor Anies also explained the direction of Jakarta’s development, in which investors are expected to know, consider, be able to make strategic decisions in order to invest their resources.
“So on this occasion, we show the direction of Jakarta’s development, what has been done and how it continues in the future and matters related to the ease of doing business in Jakarta. For example, licensing reform, spatial planning, all of which are ingredients we hope that the business world will be involved in economic development in this city,β he explained.
Anies also hopes that in the 2022 JIF forum there will be intense interaction between the government’s plans, the private sector, and investors from institutions related to the government, multinational organizations and pure private investors.
βAn investment forum does not only interact on the panel, but after the percentage of all interacting with each other, after that, follow-up meetings between investors and those who bring opportunities. The investment we encourage is real investment, which goes directly into business activities,β he said.
In addition to seminars, in JIF 2022 there is a leader forum as a space for several agencies in the DKI Provincial Government to be ready to meet interested investors, such as the housing, food and spatial planning offices, and BUMD.
Meanwhile, Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office DKI Jakarta Province Onny Widjanarko, explained that the implementation of JIF 2022 is very appropriate with the current momentum and conditions in Jakarta and Indonesia. Moreover, 15 city development investment projects are offered to investors.
“This JIF is the right moment, because first the economic conditions of Jakarta and Indonesia are good compared to other countries, secondly investments are starting to squirm, and interestingly there are 15 projects that are not only growing, developing, but also trending and inviting investors from all over the world,” added Governor Anies. .
