BALI, JAKTIMES.COM- A number of heads of state have arrived in Bali, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan who have landed at Terminal VVIP I of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, Monday (14/11/2022). The arrival of the Turkish President to attend the G20 Summit which will take place on November 15-16.

President Erdogan arrived at around 12:10 Central Indonesian Time (WITA) by using a white plane with a red color. There is Turkiye writing and the Turkish flag on the fuselage. Representatives from the Indonesian government who welcomed Erdogan were Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster.

Before Erdoan, IOC President Thomas Bach also came. He was welcomed by Menpora Zainuddin Amali and the Governor of Bali. Erdogan was also accompanied by his ministers such as Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Finance Nureddin Nebai, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirisci, Director of Communications at the Turkish presidential office Fahrettin Altun, an interpreter. presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, then Head of the Defense Industry Presidency Ismail Demir and Justice and Development Party (AK Party) spokesman Omer Celik.

Previously, a number of heads of state had come to Bali to attend the G20 Summit on November 15-16, 2022. The heads of state who came on Sunday (11/13/2022) were Japanese Prime Minister (PM) Fumio Kishida, South Korean (South Korean) President Yoon Suk-yeol, and United States President Joe Biden.

In addition, the Chief Executive or Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab, President of the Islamic Development Bank (ISBD) Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Director General of International Labor Organizations (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo also came to Bali to attend the G20 Summit.

Indonesia officially holds the G20 president in 2022. In its leadership, Indonesia carries the spirit of recovery along with the theme ‘Recover Together, Recover Stronger’. There are three priority issues in Indonesia’s G20 presidency, namely global health architecture, digital transformation, and sustainable energy transition (IP/JT)
