JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM – President Jokowi has once again entrusted Andi Amran Sulaiman as the Minister of Agriculture.
Today, President Jokowi inaugurated Andi Amran Sulaiman as the Minister of Agriculture at the State Palace on Wednesday morning, October 25, 2023. This inauguration is based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 101/P Year 2023 concerning the Appointment of the Minister of Agriculture in the Working Cabinet of Indonesia Maju for the Remaining Term of the 2019-2024 Period.
Following the reading of the Keppres by the Deputy for Administrative Affairs of the State Secretariat Ministry, Nani Purwati, President Joko Widodo then led the swearing-in ceremony, which was recited by Amran Sulaiman.
“I swear by God that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution, and I will faithfully uphold all laws and regulations in carrying out my duties for the benefit of the nation and the state. I pledge to uphold the ethics of my position, work to the best of my ability, and carry out my responsibilities with utmost diligence,” said Amran.
Amran Sulaiman was inaugurated as the Minister of Agriculture, replacing Syahrul Yasin Limpo, who resigned earlier this month. Previously, Amran also served as the Minister of Agriculture in the Working Cabinet under President Jokowi’s first term from 2014 to 2019.
Present at the inauguration were, among others, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD, Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Pramono Anung, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Chief of the Indonesian National Defense Forces Admiral Yudo Margono (Wan).
