Indonesian Press Council Launches AI Training for Creative Media Production, Limited Seats Available

JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM-As artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes the global media landscape, the Indonesian Press Council is taking proactive steps to strengthen the digital capabilities of media professionals.

In collaboration with the Indonesian Digital Association (IDA) and the Committee for Digital Platform Corporate Responsibility to Support Quality Journalism (KTP2JB), the council will host a full-day AI Training for Creative Media Production on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at the ANTARA Heritage Center in Jakarta.

Designed for journalists, content creators, and media workers, the program aims to deepen understanding of how AI can be integrated into editorial workflows, creative production, and content distribution.

Comprehensive Training Sessions: From Concept to Hands-On Practice

The event will run from 08:30 to 17:00 WIB, featuring three core sessions led by practitioners in the digital and media ecosystem.

Session 1: AI Adoption Across Industries and Key Challenges
Speaker: Dian Gemiano, Chairman of IDA
Participants will be introduced to the broader landscape of AI adoption, emerging opportunities across multiple sectors, and the ethical and regulatory challenges that accompany its growth.

Session 2: AI for Creative Production (Presentation)
Speaker: Aiman Bahadi, Volare
This session provides insights into how AI tools are transforming creative work, including content ideation, automation, and generative technologies used in modern media.

Session 3: AI for Creative Production (Hands-On Workshop)
Speaker: Tryaman Patta Paranoan, Volare
A practical, interactive workshop where participants will experiment directly with AI tools to create visual, audio, and text-based content.

Panel Discussion: The Future of Human–AI Collaboration

The program will also highlight a panel discussion titled “The Future of Human–AI Collaboration” featuring key figures in Indonesia’s media and digital governance:

  • Totok Suryanto – Deputy Chairman, Indonesian Press Council
  • Damar Juniarto – Member, KTP2JB
  • Dian Gemiano – Chairman, IDA

The panel will explore how AI can be integrated into newsroom ecosystems while preserving journalistic integrity and quality.
