OJK Issues Whitelist of Licensed Crypto Platforms, Here Is the Complete List of Legal Platforms in Indonesia

Business Jakarta Tech

JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM — Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) has officially issued a whitelist of licensed and registered digital financial asset and crypto asset trading platforms. The policy marks an important step in strengthening consumer protection while safeguarding the integrity of Indonesia’s crypto asset ecosystem.

The whitelist includes licensed Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD) as well as registered Prospective Digital Financial Asset Traders (CPAKD) that are under the direct supervision of OJK. The list serves as an official reference for the public to verify the legality of platforms, applications, and entities used in crypto asset transactions.

OJK emphasized that the whitelist policy is based on Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (UU P2SK). The regulation includes criminal sanctions for parties conducting digital financial asset trading activities without proper authorization.

“Entities not listed on the whitelist are not under OJK supervision and may pose risks or cause losses to the public,” OJK stated in its official announcement.

OJK Advisory: Use Legal and Rational Platforms

OJK urged the public to use only applications, websites, or official channels listed in the whitelist. The authority also advised users to carefully verify the consistency of entity names, applications, and website addresses to avoid fraud, including typosquatting practices and promotions through unofficial channels.

In selecting digital financial asset products, OJK once again stressed the principles of Legal and Rational.
Legal means ensuring that the entity and its products are properly licensed and listed on the whitelist.
Rational means remaining cautious of unrealistic return offers that may indicate illegal investment schemes.
