JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM — Jakarta residents are advised to remain alert to changing weather conditions today. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts cloudy skies with light rain across the capital throughout the day on Wednesday (January 14).
According to BMKG’s official website, light rain is expected to fall in several areas of Jakarta starting in the morning. Regions likely to experience light rainfall include the Thousand Islands, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and South Jakarta. Meanwhile, cloudy conditions are forecast for Central Jakarta and East Jakarta.
As the day progresses into the afternoon, slight changes in weather conditions are expected. Cloudy skies are predicted over the Thousand Islands and North Jakarta, while light rain may occur in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta.
In the evening, BMKG forecasts cloudy weather across all areas of Jakarta, including the Thousand Islands, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta.
The cloudy conditions are expected to persist into the night throughout the capital.
BMKG also reported that temperatures in Jakarta today will range between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels remaining relatively high at 75 to 93 percent.
