JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM — Dash Electric, an Indonesian startup providing electric vehicle–based last-mile logistics services, has secured additional funding in its seed investment round, with SAGANA coming on board as a new investor.

The investment highlights SAGANA’s confidence in Dash Electric’s business model, which aims to address growing challenges around efficiency and sustainability in Indonesia’s logistics sector.

As reported by Jaktimes.com citing DailySocial.id, the seed round is led by Fondation Botnar, with participation from a diverse group of investors, including The Radical Fund, Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia, Bali Investment Club, Aksara Ventures, Antler, and Kevin Aluwi, co-founder and former CEO of Gojek.

The newly raised capital will be used to strengthen operations and accelerate the adoption of Dash Electric’s EV-as-a-Service model. This approach enables companies — particularly in the e-commerce and food & beverage sectors — to transition to electric delivery fleets without upfront capital expenditure, while also eliminating the complexity of fleet and driver management.

Dash Electric believes demand for reliable and efficient last-mile logistics will continue to grow alongside the expansion of digital transactions and on-demand delivery services. By offering a fully managed fleet solution, the company aims to help clients reduce operational costs while improving delivery reliability.

Currently, Dash Electric has partnered with several major platforms, including Lazada, Zalora, JNE, Janji Jiwa, and Sayurbox. From an environmental perspective, the company reports having avoided up to 77 tons of CO₂ emissions. Socially, Dash Electric says it has improved the livelihoods of more than 500 drivers through better compensation structures and enhanced safety standards.

SAGANA stated that the additional investment aligns with its focus on backing solutions that generate both economic and environmental impact. With the support from the seed round, Dash Electric is expected to scale its operations more rapidly and contribute to the decarbonization of Indonesia’s logistics sector (Wan)
