JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has conveyed his deepest condolences to President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto following deadly floods and landslides that have struck several regions in Sumatera.
In an official statement, President Tebboune expressed his sincere sympathy and the full solidarity of the Algerian government and people with Indonesia. He prayed that those who lost their lives would be granted the best place by Almighty God, and that the injured would make a swift recovery.
“May Allah Almighty welcome the deceased into His vast paradise and grant healing to those who were injured,” the Algerian President said in a message addressed to the Indonesian President, received by The Jakarta Times (Jaktimes.com) through an official press release on December 16, 2025.
The message of condolence reflects Algeria’s empathy and support for Indonesia as it faces the impact of natural disasters in Sumatera. The Algerian government also reaffirmed the close friendship and humanitarian solidarity between the two countries.
