JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM – A demonstration around the DPR/MPR RI complex in Senayan on Monday afternoon (Aug 25, 2025) turned chaotic. As a result, access to the Inner-City Toll Road heading to Senayan was closed, causing severe traffic congestion.
Vehicles heading to Senayan were diverted to exit at Jalan Poros Slipi. This led to long traffic jams stretching across the Slipi – Palmerah – Tomang area, disrupting residents’ activities.
According to Jaktimes.com’s observation, protesters were seen pushing against police officers on the road. Meanwhile, vehicles were unable to pass at all.
