JAKARTA, JAKTIMES.COM– President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto officially received Letters of Credence from 12 Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of friendly nations at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Friday (November 7, 2025).
The ceremony marked an important step in enhancing diplomatic relations and expanding strategic cooperation between Indonesia and its international partners. With the presentation of these letters, the newly appointed ambassadors formally begin their missions in Indonesia.
The event, held in a solemn atmosphere, reflected Indonesia’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial international relations based on peace, development, and shared prosperity.
Here are the 12 new Ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Prabowo:
1. Barbara Szymanowska – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Polandia.
2. Khalid Jassim Alyassin – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait.
3. Gladys Kamia Isihanua – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Solomon Islands.
4. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
5. Sharon Ann Lennon – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland.
